We direct bill your extended health plan.

Many extended health benefits plans include physiotherapy coverage. Our team is happy to help you navigate your insurance plan coverage. While not necessary, we suggest contacting your plan provider to find out:

1. If a doctor’s referral is required in order for treatment to be covered.
2. How claims are handled, do they offer direct billing or will you have to complete and submit paperwork.

Motor Vehicle Accident Coverage

We direct bill your auto insurance plan.

If you have extended health care benefits that cover therapy, auto insurance companies in Newfoundland and Labrador require that your claim be placed through your extended health plan first. Any remaining balances for services are then covered by your auto accident insurance plan. On your first visit, you may be asked to provide information about your extend health plan.

If you do not have extended health benefits that cover therapy, your treatments may be billed directly through your auto accident insurance company.

Blue Cross Billing

We will bill Medavie Blue Cross directly for physiotherapy and massage therapy treatments for members of:

• Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)
• Department of National Defense (DND)
• Canadian Forces
• Veterans Affairs

For any treatments partially covered, you will be asked to pay the difference at each visit.
