I graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from DAV Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation in the city of Jalandhar, province Punjab in India. DAV is the oldest and pioneer institutes in northern India affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences. After graduation, I worked for five years in a tertiary level hospital, SPS hospitals in India where I had a chance to work with a variety of patients ranging from acute musculoskeletal and neurological injuries, geriatrics, pediatrics, obs and gynae as well as chronic injuries, post-surgical rehab and with patients in Intensive care units.

My major areas of work are musculoskeletal injuries and post-surgical rehab. I use my expertise to treat MVA and work-related injuries as well as acute sports injuries. I use manual therapy, Acupuncture, Dry Needling/IMS and K-taping in my clinical practice. The key focus is on patient education, injury prevention and what to do and not do after any injury/problem, along with providing adequate treatment for full function in daily life. I believe that a home exercise program also keeps patients active and brings out the best results, if followed diligently.

I believe effective communication is the key to success and I speak Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu in addition to English. I am a firm believer in life-long learning and I am very keen to develop my skills by taking a lot of post-graduate courses to learn new techniques and advancements in patient care.

When not working, I enjoy going for long drives and appreciate the beauty of nature. I love to spend time with my family and friends.
